Reviews and Ratings
My stay at Grosvenor House, JW Marriott Hotel was lovely. The 'deluxe quiet room' facing the inner courtyard was nice, ensuring peace and quiet, despite the high price of £484/night. The service from the attentive staff was exceptional, especially with customer care coming first. The location was ideal, close to many attractions in London. The dining experience offered top-quality food, albeit a bit overpriced. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few price-related considerations.
The hotel is in a prime location facing Hyde Park, making it ideal for various activities. The rooms are spacious and offer a great view, but they could use some upgrading. The service was exceptional, especially with special gestures like a decorated plate for our anniversary. However, the dining experience was a letdown during the first days of our stay. Overall, a comfortable hotel with friendly staff and great amenities.
The hotel is situated in the posh neighborhood of Mayfair and offers a fresh 5-star feeling. While the rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, the half-doors shower design can lead to a bit of a mess. The service from all staff members, from doorman to housekeeping, was exceptional, but there was an issue with a rude interaction regarding a refund. The location serves well and is exceptional for exploring Hyde Park, Green Park, St James Park, and all of Mayfair. Dining was described as a true 5-star experience with great food and excellent service, although some found certain meal options to be overpriced. Facilities and amenities, including room service, car hire, dry cleaning, housekeeping, and laundry, were readily available.
The hotel is like a small apartment with everything you could need, but lacks modern amenities like sockets for charging phones and bedside tables. The service in the lounge bar is top-notch with fantastic suites and convenient facilities, ensuring a nice and comfortable stay. The location is excellent, with Hyde Park just across the street, but dining experiences vary, especially at the steakhouse. Overall, the hotel offers a mix of positives and negatives for a memorable stay.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic overall. The rooms were spacious with great closets and large bathrooms, featuring amazingly comfortable beds and linens. However, our double room was set up for 2 single beds initially, which was a bit of an inconvenience. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, especially the gentlemen at the door who were so helpful and friendly. The location on Park Lane was exceptional, offering easy access to many attractions and shopping areas. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with excellent food choices but a slight inconvenience of having to clear the breakfast table myself. The facilities were top-notch, making my stay even more enjoyable.
The hotel was very nice overall, with clean and well-kept rooms and friendly and attentive service. The location was convenient, especially for those working in Mayfair. The dining experience could be improved, though, as it was repetitive. Good value for money overall.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms had a stylish blend of modern and historic touches, but they were small with only a queen bed. The noise from other guests staying up late was a downside, especially past check-in time. However, the service was exceptional with highly trained staff always ready to help, even organizing alternative transport options during a holiday closure. The location was superb near Hyde Park, though I missed the indoor pool due to renovations. Dining options were a hit or miss, with excellent room service but crowded dining areas. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
